White Sulpher Springs

Located in the Judith Basin area of central Montana, White Sulfur Springs has been a favorite stopping ground of Native Americans and tired travelers alike who were attracted to the area for a soak in one of its numerous hot springs. White Sulfur Springs is tucked between the Big Belt Mountains, the Castle Mountains and the Little Belt Mountains and is the known as the best town to access the amazing fishing and floating opportunity afforded by the Smith River system. During the winter months, the town becomes a good base for a downhill skiers & boarders and snowmobilers travelling into the mountains that surround town. There are a handful of accommodation and dining options that visitors can utilize, some of the hotels offering hot tubs filled with hot spring waters piped in from the source.
