Description

A rustic log bridge crossing Siouxon Creek marks the beginning of trail No. 130A. A water crossing through Chinook Creek, 3/4 mile from the trailhead, offers a challenge for forest visitors. The water depth can be 2-3-feet deep in early July, so proceed with caution! After this crossing, Chinook Creek Waterfall is in view. The trail rapidly climbs 1000 feet in 1 mile, through second-growth conifers, and ends in an old-growth forest. The trail terminates on Forest Road 6403.

Chinook Creek Waterfall engulfs the large rock face falling 50 feet to the pool below. Old-growth conifers dominate the southern portion of this trail.
