Located on 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa, this site offers solitude in a natural forest setting for those seeking a beyond-the-norm camping experience. For those who come for sport, the lake is well known as a prime fishery for kookanee salmon.

Emergency medical/dental/optical services are available in Eureka, approximately 12 miles to the southeast; Kalispell, 55 miles southeast of Eureka; and Libby, 70 miles southwest of Eureka. Full services are also offered at all three locations as well as the neighboring towns of Rexford and Fortine.
