Description

Located approximately 8 air miles from the Montana/Idaho border, this small lake is surrounded by dense conifers and forest vegetation. Best suited for row boats or small power boats, the lake boasts late spring fishing possibilities for cutthroat and rainbow trout.

This campground is located adjacent to the water on .75-mile-long Kilbrennan Lake. It is situated in a natural forest environment and is popular with the local residents. A boat ramp is located on the north side of the lake, next to the campground, and is suitable for small water craft. The area is in close proximity to Kilbrennan Creek, Yaak River, Yaak River Campground, and Yaak Falls.

Emergency medical/dental services are available in Troy; medical/dental/optical are available in Libby, 30 miles southeast; or Bonners Ferry, Idaho, 35 miles northwest. Groceries, fuel, laundry and other services are also available in Troy.

From Troy, travel US Highway 2 West for approximately three miles to Road 2394. Turn here and follow for 8 miles to the campground.
