Perfectly charming when trees sport spring greenery but arguably more popular come first snow, Whitefish, a small northern city, is a winter wonderland known for its accessible slopes and proximity to Glacier National Park.
Big Mountain Resort and the town of Whitefish, Montana are set at the edge of storied and treasured wilderness landscapes. There is so much to see and do during your stay. Enjoy beautiful mountain hiking trails, peaceful meadows, and epic vistas that create our tranquil atmosphere. Kintla Lodge is a premier ski-in/ski-out condominium property just a snowballs throw from the Tenderfoot chair lift. The lodge is a reflection of the Montana landscape, with native log and stone accents. The structure perpetuates the best of the architectural style initiated in Glacier Park. Big Mountain closes for the winter season on April 9th and reopens for the summer season on June 17th. Amenities are available in nearby Whitefish, only 12 minutes away.
