Description

This site is found in a natural forest environment and is in close proximity to Lake Creek, Bramlet Creek, Fourth of July Creek and West Fisher Creek (which flows into the Fisher River). It is approximately 3 air miles east of the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness and 7 miles southeast of the Libby Creek Gold Panning Recreation Area and Howard Lake Campground.

Adjacent to secluded Lake Creek; Silver Dollar, Geiger Lakes, Fourth of July, and Bramlet Lake trails; and the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. The nearby Fisher River offers fishing opportunities and the entire general area is prime for wildlife viewing.

Emergency medical/dental/optical services are available in Libby. St. John''s Lutheran Hospital offers 24-hour emergency care and is a fully staffed, 26-bed facility. Groceries, fuel, laundry and other services are also available as Libby is a full-service community.

From Libby, travel 22 miles south on US Highway 2 to the junction with West Fisher Road 231. Turn onto this road and follow approximately 5 miles to the campground.
