Description
This site is located adjacent to the Tobacco River in a natural forested area. It is also in the vicinity of 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa and the Hoodoos, a limestone formation found in an adjoining bay off the lake. During high reservoir fluctuations, backflow finds its way into the river.

From Eureka, follow US Highway 37 west for 3.5 miles. Cross the bridge at the Tobacco river and travel .5 mile to the sign marked "Fishing Access." Turn right at this point, and then take the first left on the gravel road. From here it is .8 mile to the site.
