Description

This site is immediately adjacent to US Highway 2 and is located at the confluence of the Kootenai and Yaak rivers. A natural forest atmosphere encompasses the campground which is divided by the beautiful Yaak River.

Undeveloped boat launch (fish species include rainbow, cutthroat trout, and whitefish), highway access, Clark Fork and Yaak rivers, wildlife viewing opportunities.

Emergency medical/dental/optical services are available in Troy, 7 miles east; Libby, 28 miles southeast; or Bonners Ferry, Idaho, 18 miles northwest. Groceries, fuel, laundry and other full services can be found in all locations.

Basic Directions

From Troy, travel US Highway 2 west for approximately 7 miles. The fee station and campground hosts will be found on the east side, before crossing the river.
