Nestled in the heart of the Little Belt Mountains, Showdown Ski Area is known for its family friendly atmosphere and amazing all-natural snow. With a base area elevation that's higher than many summits and a location that puts us right in the middle of the winter storm paths, Showdown gets the good snow and keeps it longer.
Located in the Judith Basin area of central Montana, White Sulfur Springs has been a favorite stopping ground of Native Americans and tired travelers alike who were attracted to the area for a soak in one of its numerous hot springs. White Sulfur Springs is tucked between the Big Belt Mountains, the Castle Mountains and the Little Belt Mountains and is the known as the best town to access the amazing fishing and floating opportunity afforded by the Smith River system.
