Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex
  The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex is a landmark wilderness in the United States. Situated along the continental divide in the northwest corner of Montana, the 950,000 acre complex boasts over 1800 miles of maintained trails.
     
Helena Population: 27,000

With a base area elevation that's higher than many summits and a location that puts us right in the middle of the winter storm paths, Showdown gets the good snow and keeps it longer.
     
Teton Pass Ski Area
  Located on the Front Range of the Montana Rockies, Teton Pass Ski Area offers great skiing and snowboarding for any level of ability on a nice variety of terrain. Teton Pass Ski Area is not the biggest resort in Montana, but it offers 114 acres of skiable terrain and receives an annual snowfall of 250 inches.
