Butte's lavish mining past is plainly evident in the prominent architecture of the homes and business district of its downtown area.

  Great Divide Snowsports Area offers great skiing and snowboarding for any age or skill. 1600 acres of skiable terrain allow for 140 different runs for your enjoyment, 22 miles north of Helena, and 95 miles south of Great Falls.
     
Great Falls Population: 57,000
  Great Falls is a convenient launching city for the recreational traveler interested in exploring the upper Missouri River and the eastern rocky mountain front. The area was founded around the confluence of the Sun River and the Missouri River and is rich in frontier history.
     
White Sulfur Springs
  Located in the Judith Basin area of central Montana, White Sulfur Springs has been a favorite stopping ground of Native Americans and tired travelers alike who were attracted to the area for a soak in one of its numerous hot springs. White Sulfur Springs is tucked between the Big Belt Mountains, the Castle Mountains and the Little Belt Mountains and is the known as the best town to access the amazing fishing and floating opportunity afforded by the Smith River system.
